you replace the entire power supply.

If you were able to carefully break open the case, you would still have to replace the transformer or rewind it.How do you replace the fuse in a AC/DC adaptor?you cant. its all tangled and wired in the power adaptor so you need to replace the adaptor. if you were to try, you would have to wind up the fuse and get a new transformerHow do you replace the fuse in a AC/DC adaptor?like it says on the label, that is a switching power supply (switched mode) which has a LOT more components in it that just a transformer, rectifier and fuse.
