Can you burn out fuses on purpose w/o creating fire hazard?

My upstairs neighbor's son (we live in the bottom of a duplex) turns up his subwoofer really loud. We have called the cops and the landlord wrote her a letter and we call almost every day to ask him to turn it down and it is still on all the time. I know the neighbor does not have money and if I call the cops more, she will get fined. She is nice and I do not want to cost her money. But I do not want the landlord to make her kick out her own son, either. But the son is very rude to her and does not listen when she asks him to turn the music down.

So I have a plan. If the fuses (his room has its own fuse) burned out every time he turns on the subwoofer, he will probably not use it as much. So we were going to go change out his fuses with burnt ones every time he turns on the subwoofer.

So we will probably need a lot of burnt out fuses, since it may take a while for him to figure out that they burn out when the subwoofer is on.

So how do we amass a collection of burnt fuses?

ThanksCan you burn out fuses on purpose w/o creating fire hazard?i will tell you how to blow the fuse on one condition that you set your computer to play tones out the speakers that are annoying at three in the morning and piss him off for a while tell him its therapy that is prescribed by a doctor . really i had this annoying neighbor to move out by playing Pink Floyd Dark Side of The Moon all day on repeat for a week during the while i was at work.

If your neighbor has fuses so don't you, just cross a wire and it will blow your fuse and there you go.Can you burn out fuses on purpose w/o creating fire hazard?ummm if you overpower the fuse then it'll bust and i think its a crime to mess with your neighbors stuff....do they keep it up past the limit time(it's 10 oclock here)if they do then warn him and his mother or just her about it if its befor then then i dont think you can do anything about it but if ur willing then justt pop the fuse out but dont get caughtCan you burn out fuses on purpose w/o creating fire hazard?IMHO...I suggest that you should stop worrying about your neighbor's son's living arrangement and focus on your peace and tranquility. Here's why I say this. From your note, the son is obviously a problem both for you and for his mom. Since mom isn't going to do anything to stop the annoyance he is causing, then you must do so. Trying to create the appearance of blowing of fuses is not really going to work. The circuits that he's plugged into is probably used by several other devices and you run the risk of causing damage by switching the power on and off in this manner. Also, by messing with their circuit systems he can easily press charges against you and you will find yourself in jail.

So.. call the cops and keep calling until the problem stops. If mom get's fed up and throws him out, well.. so be it.. it will be a good lesson for him to learn. Although I suspect that if mom keeps getting complaints filed against her and she finally get's the nerve to tell him to comply or leave.. he'll mostly likely comply simply because he has no where else to go. After all... if he's still living with mom, either he's an out of control adolesent or a lazy bum of an adult. Either way, a hard lesson is in store for him.

So... call the cops... let mom and son work it out. This is their problem and not one you where you should stoop to illegal activities to solve for them.

Good luck and I hope this helps! Can you burn out fuses on purpose w/o creating fire hazard?I suppose it depends on what type fuses you have as to where you can get a bunch cheaply enough to blow them..... since no one in their right mind saves a blown fuse it may be hard to find them used lol...so you're talking about buying them new and blowing them...probably a bit expensive but not too bad considering the boy is a pest.... exceeding the rated amperage is how you blow one ...probably the easiest way to do it is the old fashioned way plug in way too many items into your plug and turn em on all at once . problem is he willstart using larger and larger fuses which means he'll notice you are replacing them with something different...also he may exceed the rational limit of fuse size which would in fact become a fire hazzard...maybe you should just hire a big kid to kick his buttCan you burn out fuses on purpose w/o creating fire hazard? If the fuse base is the same size as a light bulb base screw the fuse into an old light . Use the plug to turn it on not the light switch. It will pop in a heart beat.
